We are paws-itively thrilled to announce the launch of our new and improved website! It’s been months in the making, but we think you’ll find it was well worth the wait! It features a more cohesive, sleek appearance and easier-to-find features.
This website is far more user-friendly and responsive. It’s also optimized for use on different devices, including mobile phones and iPads (no more scrolling side-to-side to see the rest of the page!). You’ll appreciate the improved flow of navigation and the static drop-down menu, which remains at the top of each page while scrolling below. All of these features combined make it much easier to find what you’re looking for!
Here’s a quick guide of the content featured under each menu tab on the website:
Home - On the site you’ll be able to view our main calendar which lists fundraising events, low-cost spay/neuter information and vaccination clinics, as well as volunteer orientations. Links to connect with us on various social media platforms are also provided.
About Us – Learn about the history of MEHS, check out who’s on the staff and board and find out more about our adorable shelter mascot, Lucy.
Adopt - Easily view all of our adoptable animals complete with a Pet Adoption Inquiry online fillable form.
Support Us – Donating to your favorite animal shelter is made simple with the ability to do so via PayPal. This page also provides our supply list needs and other ways to support MEHS.
Get Involved – We have so many different ways to get involved with MEHS. Whether it’s fostering, serving on a committee or helping at our events--learn about all the volunteer opportunities under this tab!
Programs – We are proud to provide various service programs to the public, such as our Vaccine and Microchip Clinic or popular Low-Cost Spay and Neuter Program. Under this tab you can read up on all of the programs we offer to the community.
