The animals identified below are currently available for adoption at an MEHS location. Animals are placed on the site immediately upon availability and removed upon adoption. Your next best friend may be waiting for you! Please take a look at the listings and know that MEHS staff can answer any further questions about animals available during business hours. You will also find the listings on Petfinder.com and Adopt-a-Pet.com, which include duplicated information.

You may visit the animals during normal business hours, seven days a week. You may submit an application online for adoption, but know that a visit is required in order to hold an animal for adoption.
