Kitten Mitten Hike

Help our kittens find their mittens!  This family friendly "hike" takes place on the short trails at MEHS Edwardsville. Register your group and be automatically entered to win prizes like a $25 Dewey's gift card, Bobby's  concrete vouchers, Pasta House gift cards, MEHS swag, and more! All proceeds raised allow MEHS to continue helping more animals in the Metro East. (Children 15 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.)    

When you register, you will choose a time Saturday, November 20th or Sunday, November 21st to hike our walking trail at MEHS Edwardsville and find the trees that have a kitten with its mitten! (Hikers register for a day & time for their group to address social distancing.)

Once you're out on the trail, take a selfie with each kitten tree tag and then share your photos with us for additional raffle entries! Share by posting on Instagram or Twitter simply using #mehskittenmittens. (Make sure your post is public so we can see it!) On Facebook, like the Metro East Humane Society FB page, tag us (@metroeasthumanesociety) in your photo, AND use #mehskittenmittens. And if you're not social media savvy, just email your photos to developmentmgr@mehs.org. You'll receive an additional entry to the raffle for each post! (And don't worry, we'll give you a map and all these instructions at the event!) 

Raffle winners will be announced Monday, November 22nd on MEHS social media.

MEHS will be open during hike hours for you to come in and enjoy our amazing four footed friends!
