Newt era un exalumno de MEHS al que le encantaba explorar. ¡Celebra su espíritu aventurero con un recorrido panorámico de 18.5 kilómetros por los senderos MCT Goshen, Heritage y Nickel Plate el 17 de octubre! Pasarás junto al banco y la estatua conmemorativos de Newt, rodeado del amor y la comunidad que él tanto valoraba.

In October 2024, in partnership with MCT Trails and Metro East Park and Recreation District, we hosted the first ever Newt Scoot and placed a permanent bench in his favorite napping spot in his honor with your support. We had over 250 riders for the inaugural ride, and we can't wait to see the MCT trails filled with orange once again in his memory.
Early registration will open Summer 2026 and include a Newt Scoot 2026 t-shirt & swag from sponsors. Day-of registration will be available, but does not guarantee a shirt!
